A miniature bowl gracefully carved from Zuni travertine is filled with crushed turquoise representing water and perhaps cornmeal or granules of sand. This generous offering has attracted a shimmering mother-of-pearl pollinator Butterfly
maiden who stops by. Her face is overlaid with turquoise and red coral. Flowing wings are inlaid with an abundance of red coral and turquoise pieces. The butterfly maiden is permanently attached to the exquisite bowl, and together they measure approximately 2" tall, 1" wide and 1 1/2" deep, carved by Vince Chavez.
