Bluebird Friend

Birds represent the interconnectedness of life through their ecological roles. We can give back to them through the planting of trees and native wildflowers that provide food and shelter. Clean water is appreciated too. Cheryl Beyuka's wonderful bluebird or piñon jay has been carved from sodalite and inlaid with optimistic eyes from red coral. The gorgeous sodalite specimen reminds us of a Zuni sky. Dimensions of this happy feathered friend are approximately 2 1/4" long, 1" wide and 1" tall. An offering necklace of gratitude has a pyrite-flecked lapis lazuli bead including lovely quartz and perhaps faceted tiger's eye beads.
