Considered the largest member of the Deer
family, moose are grand creatures and great swimmers. The name for a moose originates from the Algonquin word "moosu
" meaning "he strips off". As herbivores, they eat a lot of willow brushes and woody plants. We're admiring Derrick Kaamasee's antler carving depicting a powerful moose with turquoise inlaid eyes. About 3 1/2" tall, 1 3/4" wide and 1 3/4" deep.
