Bear has been carved from a fabulous Purisima stone oozing fossilized life such as mollusks and barnacles from prehistoric times. Fossils are not only intriguing but educational because they give us an idea of how ancient landscapes and climate have changed over time and how living things reacted to those changes. Those lessons are actually very important as our modern climate changes. All fossils are irreplaceable. Eyes with sweet character are from inlaid cultured opals. Approximately 2 5/8" long, 3/4" wide and 2 1/4" tall.
