We were blessed with Jessica Eriacho and her father Felino Eriacho's happy presence at our Keshi gallery, hosting them last weekend for a show during the annual SWAIA Market. We were in awe of their fetishes all carved from Indigenous minerals found from reservation lands as well as surrounding locales like the Fence Lake area. Their animal carvings have a certain feeling to them, evoking the spirit of the creature because they were hewn from these certain stones. Zuni Pueblo fluorite is a special variety displaying gorgeous olive green, subdued yellow and tinges of earthy soft red colors. Jessica's Zuni fluorite and Zuni azurite Badger has little eyes from pen shell inlays. An offering bundle has branch red coral, fine heishe and turquoise beads. About 2 1/8" long, 1 1/4" wide and 1" tall.
