Bird nesting season usually begins in the spring. Much time and energy is put into a successful nesting. Some birds arrive after a long journey from wintering grounds. Then they've got to build secure nests, find good food sources and look for a mate. Kateri Quandelacy Sanchez's sweet hatchling has been carved from lovely fluorite and measures about 1 1/2" long, 1 1/4" wide and 1" tall. Large endearing eyes are from jet. An offering bundle is from carnelian, pink coral, pearl and quartz beads.
