Hummingbird has been associated with the arrival of the rainy season, transformation and brave warrior spirit. Ancient Mayan stories tell that the sun becomes a hummingbird to court the moon. Chris Peina's hummingbird has been carved from a gorgeous slice of shed antler crown. We love the three dimensional effect. Eyes are from turquoise inlays.
