Belonging to both land and water, Daphne and Leland Boone's Frog
thrives. In Zuni Pueblo, frogs often appear on prayer bowls since many of the Zuni prayers and dances ask for water in the form of rain or snow. Turquoise eyes are set into an outstanding onyx with contrasting dark and light areas. An attractive spiny oyster shell point with turquoise beads is an attached offering by the artists in appreciation for this important water creature. About 2 1/4" long, 2" wide and 1 3/8" tall.
