Vernal Kallestewa is the son of jeweler and fetish carver Benina Kallestewa and his grandmother is noted jeweler Veranda Kallestewa. Already showing great skill in his youth, Vernal's handmade sterling silver and turquoise pendant is about 1 1/4" long and 5/8" wide. Each lovely turquoise stone is set with silver channels in between which is known as the channel inlay jewelry technique. Signed by the artist.
