A collection of stories, as told by Zuni people, translated by Alvina Quam. The tales included in the book were collected as part of a larger project in 1965 in which tribal storytellers were asked to record their tales on tape. From this collection a small handful of the stories were published as way to preserve the oral traditions for future generations and offers a wonderful sneak peak into Zuni life and culture from their own perspective. Published by University Of New Mexico press, copyright 1972, 8" by 5", 254 pages.
