Deep underground a mole probably enjoys inhaling the rich intoxicating aromas of damp earth using great senses like smell and feel other than eyesight to prosper. Stewart Quandelacy and Priscilla Lasiloo Quandelacy's fabulous Mole
has been carved from pipestone which is actually fossilized clay. Long ago while in a wet clay state and before hardening, perhaps it smelled good too. Eyes are from turquoise, while a lovely offering bundle has fresh serpentine, orange spiny oyster shell and turquoise pieces. About 2 3/8" long, 3/4" wide and 3/4" tall.
