By Burt Awelagte

Animal: Eagle, Material: Leopard Marble
This offering is sold.

With about 7,000 feathers, an Eagle (or a Hawk) is prepared to stay snug for winter's coldest days. Stiff exterior vane feathers lock together acting like an overcoat of protection, while soft downy under feathers insulate. Burt Awelagte's smoothly sculpted bird has turquoise inlaid eyes, a great contrast to the richness of the leopard marble specimen. About 3 1/2" long, 3/4" wide and 1 3/4" tall. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this eagle fetish will go to the Zuni Eagle Sanctuary.
