Starburst Needlepoint Earrings

We're happy to welcome Albert Lamar Peywa to Keshi's website with a stunning pair of sterling silver and turquoise needlepoint earrings for pierced ears. The energetic design reminds us of a starburst pattern. Needlepoint jewelry emerged in Zuni around the 1940's. It is among some of the most labor intensive jewelry to create. Each bezel is individually shaped and soldered, a technique calling for much skill and patience. These lightweight earrings are approximately 1 1/2" long and 1" wide. Signed by the artist.
