Jeffrey Yunie is from the greater Quandelacy family of important Zuni artists. His brother is carver Brian Yunie. Their mother was noted artist Albenita Yunie (d). Jeffrey's exceptional Badger is flush to the ground equipped with incised claws. Specialized for excavating, a badger's amazing claws and a strong body to get the job done. Eyes are from turquoise inlays. About 1 3/4" long, 3/4" wide and 5/8" tall, carved from rich pipestone.
