This offering is sold.

We're happy to welcome Lionel Sanchez, Jr. to Keshi's website. He is the son of carver Lionel Sanchez. A parent Owl is carved from tufa which is a type of porous volcanic stone. Tufa can be found in areas of ancestral Puebloan land that is now Bandelier National Monument. The small owlets nestled in the breast feathers of their protector remind us of those ancient cliff dwellings at Bandelier. The parent owl with circular etched eyes is approximately 7" tall, 3 1/2" wide and 3 3/8" deep. The five darling owlets are carved from other lovely varieties of found stone.
