Roadrunners are spunky feisty birds who live in desert regions. These terrestrial cuckoos are tough customers who defend territories and nests against potential threats. They mate for life too. Fabian Tsethlikai carves fabulous roadrunners as seen in a latest offering rendered in black marble. Eyes are from turquoise inlays. Plumage is beautifully etched. About 2 1/2" long, 1/2" wide and 1 1/4" tall.
