Carved Double Neck Guitar

By Carl Etsate

This offering is sold.
The versatile double neck guitar resembles two guitars stuck together. What's cool is that it allows the player to switch instruments mid-song. French maker Nicholas Voboame Alexander II is believed to have developed one of the first versions of the instrument with a double-neck as early as 1690. Carl Etsate's tribute to the all in one guitar is from carved wood, paint, glitter and wire on a flagstone base. Dimensions of this colorful small sculpture are approximately 4" tall, 2" wide and 2 3/8" deep. Signed by the artist.
