Lovely Lioness

Female lions are called lionesses. They are not as large as the males but can reach weights of around 300 pounds. They are primary hunters because they are smaller and agile compared to heavyweight males. After a successful hunt, all the lions in the pride share the bounty with the adult males eating first, followed by the lionesses and finally the cubs. Bryston Bowannie's sweet-faced picture jasper lion has turquoise eyes and a lovely green turquoise point offering bundle tied to the side of this approximately 2 5/8" long, 7/8" wide and 1 7/8" tall fabulous feline. The way in which Bryston secured the offering bundle is somewhat loose resulting in some movement of the beads.
