A nourishing rain has quenched sacred Zuni land, so Cheryl Beyuka's iridescent gold lip shell Butterfly has roosted to dry stunningly inlaid wings from bright coral, sky blue turquoise and rich jet. They're enhanced with lovely etched lines. Butterflies are important pollinators. Measurements are approximately 1 3/4" long and 2 1/4" wide. Cheryl is from the greater Bica and Kalestewa family of noted Zuni Pueblo carvers.
