Eagles are great hunters. Hunting prowess comes with the practice of patience as well as fearlessness. Carved by Mike Tucson, a sharp turquoise-eyed eagle’s body and perch are carved from jet with an antler head and mother-of-pearl tail feathers. As this majestic eagle surveys the land below, you can practically see the wind ruffling each carefully incised feather. The details in Mike’s pieces are stunning to behold, from the jagged marks in the base that mimic a true cliff, to the tiny hooked beak and serious expression on the raptor’s face. About 3 3/8" tall, 1 5/8" wide and 1" deep. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this eagle fetish will go to the Zuni Eagle Sanctuary.
