From the earth rises a Medicine-bear formed during ancient volcanic eruptions. Septarian nodules are round concretions found in sedimentary rocks. Concretions are hard solid masses formed by the build up of matter within sediment. An exceptionally gorgeous specimen of septarian nodule has two sides to it, one is somewhat rounded and smooth with an etched Dragonfly and celestial bodies. The reverse stuns with crystalline crackled throughout. Turquoise inlaid eyes express a healing spirit. Kateri Quandelacy Sanchez's amazing Bear measures about 2 3/8" long, 3/4" wide and 2" tall. Her late mother artist Georgia Quandelacy taught her to carve bears when she was young.
