Natural abstract lines and patterns produce a powerful sense of energy in Andres Lementino's Picasso marble Bison who is meticulously inlaid with a stunning Zuni Sunface symbol. Colorful apple coral, turquoise, pen shell, iridescent mother-of-pearl, jet and lapis lazuli bring the Sunface to life, representing a balance of the elements. Mighty horns are overlaid with alternating sections of pen shell, turquoise and apple coral. These material are set in the stone to stone method which requires exacting lapidary and design skills. Heartfelt eyes are from turquoise inlays and a beard is nicely presented. About 5 1/8" long, 1 1/4" wide and 3 1/2" tall.
