Calvert Bowannie
is backordered. We will ship it separately when it becomes available.
Beavers are amazing hydrologists who impact river water by slowing it, spreading it and storing it. Importantly, they do not stop water altogether. They help mitigate drought conditions through their dams that can store water on the surface and absorb it into the ground, which can increase stream flow during droughts. Calvert Bowannie's handsome rhyolite water creature has turquoise inlaid eyes and a wonderful cross-hatched tail. About 2" long, 1 3/8" wide and 7/8" tall.
Daphne & Leland Boone
Badgers are tenacious and strong-willed animals, giving us good animal medicine in regards to our goals. Pressing on and following through is what badgers do and so should we. Daphne and Leland Boone's rhyolite beneath the ground badger has turquoise eyes and is about 3" long, 2 1/4" wide and roughly 1 3/8" tall. Rhyolite is a gorgeous volcanic fine-grained rock.
Fred Bowannie Jr.
Water creatures such as salmon, herring and flounder are on the menu for mighty Eagles who are opportunistic hunters. Makes you wonder what kind of fish Fred Bowannie, Jr.'s raptor has caught. It's carved from iridescent abalone and inlaid with a pen shell eye. The smoothly sculpted bird (or perhaps even a Hawk) is from one piece of rhyolite rippling with light raspberry hues. Rhyolite is a fine-grained igneous rock rich in silica. We love the feathered friend's attentively turned head with pen shell inlaid eyes. Plumage is lightly etched. About 3 3/4" tall, 2 5/8" wide and 1 3/8" deep. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this eagle fetish will go to the Zuni Eagle Sanctuary.
