Anthony Lovato is fifth-generation Kewa (Santo Domingo Pueblo) artist who was honored as the 2023 Museum of Indian Arts and Culture’s Living Treasure in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His stunning sterling silver Horse earrings for pierced ears were created in tufa cast jewelry technique where molten silver is poured into a tufa stone that is carved out with designs. The tufa molds can only be used once, as they are destroyed in the removal of the cooled silver pieces. You can be assured these medium-weight equine-themed earrings are truly one of a kind. Signed by the artist, they're about 1 1/8" long and 1 1/8" wide, slightly convex.
