Marvelous Mosaic Dangle Earrings

Kewa elder Mary C. Lovato has been making jewelry since the 1950's. These mosaic dangle earrings are classic examples of her signature style. Colorful turquoise, vivid spiny oyster shell, rich pen shell and iridescent gold lip shell are overlaid on peachy melon shell. Sterling silver bands create graphic beauty. Mary says of her jewelry, "Whoever it may go to, may they have strength, may they have a happy life". About 2" long including handmade silver hooks and 1 1/4" wide.
