During peafowl courtship rituals, male peacocks spread and shake their fanciful plumage to attract a mate. Carved from a section of antler crown, a turquoise-eyed bird has etched feathers gorgeously inlaid with turquoise and lapis. A tiny offering necklace hosts peridot, lapis, aquamarine and aventurine beads. The lovely peacock pendant portion itself measures about 2 1/2" long and 3" wide.
