Habitat fragmentation has severely effected
Mountain-lion (cougar, puma or panther) populations in many states. They desperately need more wildlife crossings over or under highways to allow them to mix with other populations and maintain genetic diversity. Wildlife crossings also assist in avoiding collisions between vehicles and animals. Rosella and Loubert Soseeah's journeying feline has been carved from gorgeous dolomite and inlaid with turquoise eyes. About 2 1/2" long, 3/4" wide and 1" tall.
