David Chavez Jr.
is backordered. We will ship it separately when it becomes available.
For the A:Shiwi (Zuni), moles (K'yaluts'i) are a Protective and Hunting animal of the Underground who protect growing crops by hunting rodents that damage them. Because David Chavez, Jr.'s Mole is sculpted from a Rolling Hills dolomite specimen with unique natural colorations, it's like getting two carvings in one. Ears are drilled and expressive eyes are from turquoise inlays. Approximately 2" long, 1" wide and 3/4" tall.

Mole is considered the guardian of the lower regions, of things not brought to light. Turquoise tracks and jet inlays adorn this beneath the ground dweller. It has little drilled ears, turquoise eyes and a lovely carved nose. The dolomite specimen has gorgeous dendritic formations too. About 2 1/4" long, 1 1/8" wide and 5/8" tall, by Danette Laate.
