The American alligator is the largest reptile in North America found from North Carolina to the Rio Grande in Texas. However, they are not usually found in Zuni water sources unless you count this one by Daphne and Leland Boone. Discoveries of fossilized Cretaceous crocodilians, which are related to alligators, have been found in the Zuni Basin of New Mexico. The chrysocolla specimen is refreshing while coral inlaid eyes are quite friendly. Wonderful cross-hatching accents this approximately 3 1/4" long, 1 1/2" wide and 7/8" tall friend.
