Cameron Kalestewa's vibrant calcite Frog joins a chorus of nighttime amphibians. A lot of frog species are active after hours so we usually hear their amazing songs at night. Adorably protruding eyes are from jet in mother-of-pearl. Frogs are the first animals to respond to environmental changes like pollution and climate change. Their disappearance is an early warning sign something is wrong. Approximately 1 3/4" long, 1" wide and 1 3/8" tall.

A benevolent Corn-Maiden is carved from a golden honey calcite by Todd Westika who descends from the greater Quandelacy family of noted artists. Confident eyes and mouth are cleanly inlaid with sterling silver. Todd etched robust corn stalks, sweet corn kernels and hovering Dragonfly companions. Squirrels are little forest rangers who protect and manage ecosystems through plant composition. By stashing seeds, cones and nuts during colder months, squirrels inadvertently plant millions of trees with their uneaten food. Losing these sweet creatures would have a detrimental impact on forested areas. Rosella and Loubert Soseeah's tree planter is carved from lovely pink Mangano calcite, a member of the calcite family. This attractive stone is a manganese calcium carbonate mineral. An etched fluffy tail and eyes from inlaid turquoise complete this ready-for-reforestation friend that measures roughly 1 5/8" tall, 3/4" wide and 1 5/8" tall. View item

Keli'i Eli's "Zuni Scout Warrior" is an outstanding sculpture representing active strength and courage. He worked the honey calcite stone in a magnificent way, creating a determined warrior's bust with strong arms and ready hands upon his accoutrement, perhaps a tomahawk. Exceptional facial features including a speaking mouth, are carved along with a traditional braided bandana wrapped around evenly incised hair. This amazing piece will command any space, bringing good energy and a warrior's spirit we all must summon within. About 8 1/2" long, 3 1/2" wide and 6 3/4" tall. Extra shipping charges may apply.
