Absorbing warm and nourishing Zuni sunshine, Karen Zunie's daydreaming turquoise-eyed Lizard
heats up and ponders new places, friends to visit and insects to eat. It's been carved from a refreshing serpentine with a phenomenally worked long tail. In nature, lizards are quiet, quick and able to escape danger by leaving their tail behind. If necessary they can possibly grow another in the future. They teach us the importance of frequently rejuvenating ourselves in order to function properly and perhaps symbolize the need to rebuild areas of our mind and heart in order to start anew. About 3" long, 5/8" wide and 1/2" tall.
