Zuni Pueblo jeweler Amy Wesley continues the tradition of the double Hummingbird design originally used by Amy and Dickie Quandelacy. Her sterling silver and rich Kingman turquoise necklace and earrings set is something to behold. Skillfully using the channel inlay technique where stone is set between sterling silver channels, a flowing bird motif evolves. The inlay pattern gives rise to a negative space that from a far looks like inlaid black curved stones. The alluring necklace is approximately 26" long, while the center station measures about 1 1/2" long and 7/8" wide. The side stations come in at roughly 1" long and 3/4" wide. The handmade sterling silver chain is beautiful. The dangle earrings for pierced ears are approximately 2" long and 3/4" wide. A glorious and most affordable set that is signed by the artist. The amount of sterling silver and the preciousness of the Kingman turquoise make this duo one to own. Please click here to learn more about differing types of Zuni jewelry.
