A powerful Eagle (or Hawk) pair swoops in to protect Zuni Pueblo. Raptors like eagles and hawks are extremely efficient fliers. They regularly change flight behavior in response to different aerial environments and the purpose of their flight, including hunting. Carved from one antler specimen, Jerrold Lahaleon, Jr.'s work displays great movement. The raptor's watchful eyes are from turquoise inlays and plumage is beautifully detailed. The ancient village has turquoise accents. Measurements are coming in at approximately 4 1/4" tall, 2" wide and 1 3/4" deep.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this eagle fetish will go to the Zuni Eagle Sanctuary.
