Frog makes positive ripples in a happy pond. Carved from indigenous Zuni fluorite, this turquoise-eyed water creature is an important symbol of life-giving moisture in the arid southwest. The local fluorite hosts soft rose, pleasing light green and quiet purple hues. At about 2" tall, 2 1/4" wide and 2" deep, this friend looks skyward praying for rain. Created by Burt Awelagte whose extended family includes Gibbs Otole and Joseph Quam.
