Hummingbirds migrate for the winter. Perhaps when we hear the word migrate, we think of a flock of birds traveling together. But the tough little hummingbird makes this journey solo, quite an amazing feat. We look forward to their return as the warm season is upon us. Carved from one specimen of alabaster, inlaid with turquoise eyes and set with a shell beak, Brandon Phillips' warrior bird is approximately 2 1/2" tall, 5/8" wide and 1 1/4" deep.
