Doting Mother Otter & Pup

Sea otter mothers are renowned for devotion to their pups. Almost all of their attention is focused toward rearing the babies. Carrying her malachite sleepy pup on her belly, a dedicated mother otter with turquoise inlaid eyes floats by. She is carved from fresh marble. When the mother needs to leave the pup alone, she'll wrap it in kelp to keep it from drifting away. Together, this peaceful duo measures about 2 7/8" long, 5/8" wide and 1/2" tall, by Stevan Natachu.
