Carved from a vibrant piece of bumblebee jasper, Brian Yatsattie's
Medicine Bear is inspirational. The vibrant colors evoke abundance while the cool weight of the carving provides a grounding strength. Ages ago, this fabulous stone was forged in fire with the help of volcanic heat. The yellow color comes from sulfur-rich streaks in the stone and gives the piece a very faint smell of matches. Expressive eyes are from jet inlays. About 3" long, 1" wide and 2 3/4" tall.
