Concentrated mostly on the Great Plains, these powerful animals shaped the culture of Indigenous Peoples who relied on them as a major resource for everything from food to fuel. This explains why the animal medicine associated with bison is about abundance and thankful prayers. Clive Hustito's mighty bison carries much power carved from Picasso marble to a size of approximately 5 3/4" long, 1 3/4" wide and 3 1/2" tall. Eyes are from turquoise inlays. Clive's incised initials appear on the hip region.
