Many Indigenous People regard horses as brothers with whom they share life's path. Ancient songs and poems expressed reverence for these powerful equines through a shared bond integral to life and culture. Long ago, Teton Sioux Lone Man composed a song for the beloved comrades: out of the earth, I sing for them, A Horse nation, I sing for them, out of the earth, I sing for them, the animals I sing for them.

Daryl Shack, Sr.'s treasured Horse pendant has been carved from a handsome serpentine. Eyes twinkle because of lovely cultured opal inlays. Including the bale with nice glass and silver beads, measurements of this reversible pendant are roughly 1 1/2" long, 1 1/4" wide and 1/4" deep. The brown leather display cord is not included.
