She was an inspiring and award-winning innovator in the traditional art form utilizing materials from around the world like amber and glass. The family would journey to the White Mountains in Arizona to harvest serpentine along the Salt River. Today, Daphne and Leland are inspired by the colors of new materials and said they can't wait to carve into them.
