Sandra Quandelacy's carvings are often reversible as is the case with this gorgeous turquoise piece that depicts Corn-Maiden and Grandmother who holds a water carrying jar called an 'olla'. It's filled with crushed red coral. The carving representative of powerful and resilient female energy is inlaid with colorful bits of red coral, turquoise and alunite. Facial features are etched and filled with jet paste. About 1 3/4" tall, 1" wide and 3/8" deep.
