This offering is sold.

A professor of botany and chemistry named Nicola Covelli (1790-1829) found himself interested in geology and volcanology especially at Mount Vesuvius in southwestern Italy. Lava studies led to the discovery of Covellite which is a rare copper sulfide with inclusions of golden pyrite. It has also been located in the state of Montana. Covellite is said to be a naturally occurring superconductor popular among mineral collectors. Some folks feel it encourages an optimistic point of view helping dreams come true. Brian Yatsattie's stunning metallic blue Covellite Frog has hopped in at roughly 1 3/4" long, 1 3/8" wide and 3/8" tall.
