A gorgeous and reversible fetish pendant necklace by Brian Yatsattie is adorned with a meticulously detailed jet raven. It is thought that Ravens are so happy and content in themselves that if given the chance to take another form they remain a raven. It is masterfully carved from a solid piece of jet and accented with inlaid turquoise eyes that beam bright against the sooty blackness of the fossilized coal. Carefully incised plumage covers the entire surface, visible from every angle. The raven (or crow) is suspended from a single strand of shiny jet beads interspaced with turquoise ones, terminating with a convenient lobster clasp closure. The corvid itself is about 2 3/4" long, 2" wide and 5/8" deep, while the necklace is approximately 18" long.
