Spiny oysters are bivalve mollusks whose natural vibrant orange, rich red, soothing purple and rare yellow colors vary from place to place based on what the mollusks eat and the depth of oceans where they live. Daryl Shack, Sr.'s cultured opal-eyed Pony has been carved from a colorful red-orange spiny oyster shell. With a flowing tail, measurements in their entirety are about 2 1/8" long, 3/8" wide and 1 1/2" tall.
