Beautiful Peralta Canyon located near Cochiti Pueblo and Peña Blanca in New Mexico is where Wilson Romero hikes, sourcing amazing stones to sculpt animals from. A wonderful Turtle graces us with a sweet presence minimally hewn from a gorgeous aggregate rock hosting the coolest shapes, even a tiny white heart appearing on the back of the carapace. Perhaps a trace fossil or two is also found within the specimen. About 3 1/2" long, 2 1/4" wide and 2 1/4" tall.
