Soaking in the warm Zuni sunshine, Michelle Cheama's quick and active Lizard
is about 4 3/4" long, 1 1/4" wide and 1 1/4" tall. This sunbathing reptile has turquoise inlaid eyes and nice cross-hatching details all over its body. This specimen of Picasso marble was a good choice of material, as Michelle could see it naturally mimics a reptile's skin. A lizard's use of camouflage is another of many survival tactics.
