Andres Lementino's liberated stallion (Horse) has been gorgeously carved from a white marble with lovely and subtle grey variations. Excited eyes are from turquoise. A stone-to-stone inlaid Zuni Sunface is set with turquoise, jet, mother-of-pearl and coral, a symbol of good luck. It represents balance in life: traditionally, turquoise (blue) stands for Father Sky, coral (red) stands for Mother Earth, and mother-of-pearl shell (white) and jet (black) represent all the elements in balance. Artists use their creative license and often choose different colored stones or shells in their pieces. The Sunface is used as an offering or blessing from the artist in thanks for the medicine or spirit that it brings to us.

Including the well polished black marble base, this approximate 6 1/2" tall, 3 1/2" deep and 1 5/8" wide work will command any room. Signed by the artist. Extra shipping charges may apply.
