Frankie Eustace's Picasso marble
Snake guards a precious egg from augite in serpentine. Mother snakes coil around their eggs to manage temperature reflecting protectiveness and great maternal care. The sentient snake has colorful turquoise inlays and measures about 1 5/8" long, 1 3/8" wide and 1/2" tall. The removable little egg itself is approximately 1/2" long, 1/4" wide and 1/8" tall. A wonderful 2-piece set by Frankie who has been carving since the 80's.
