Dylan Poblano continues to inspire us with his mastery of various art forms like painting, jewelry, fetish carving and sculpture. His mother is distinguished carver and jeweler Veronica Poblano, while his grandfather was noted artist Leo Poblano (d). His sister is carver and beadworker Jovanna Poblano. Dylan grew up spending time in his family's studio where artistic endeavors flourished.
We're excited to share his latest creation in sterling silver, a two-piece "Star Deity With Water" sculpture that celebrates these magnificent celestial bodies. Surrounded by many stars, is a deity wearing a traditional tablita headdress. Cascading from a bowl is life-giving water. This fabulous water component is removable. A museum-quality sculpture measuring about 2 1/4" tall, 2" wide and 1 1/2" deep. Signed by the artist. Because the gorgeous star elements are fabricated with cleanly pointed tips, please handle with care.
