By Daphne & Leland Boone

Animal: Badger, Material: Picasso Marble
This offering is sold.
Although the first of spring's wildflowers are starting to show, Daphne and Leland Boone's hopeful Badger waits for the owl to call before emerging from its burrow. Eyes are from turquoise inlaid to a Picasso marble resembling a rich underground root system. In Zuni Pueblo, badgers are viewed as powerful creatures who help medicine men dig roots for healing. About 3 1/2" long, 1" wide and 1 1/4" tall.
